Installation

To get started, go to your EventON account and download the Filter Plus addon zip file.

Go to Plugins > Add New (in your WordPress admin area) and then select Upload

Configuration

To get started, go to EventON → Settings → Sorting and Filtering and ensure that all the filtering and sorting options that you’d like to use are selected as shown below:

Once the addon is activated, you will notice that you have some shiny new filters available on the shortcode generator as shown below:

Calendar Filter Style

With this addon, you get the following filters that can be selected on the dropdown shown above:

• Above events filter bar
• Side filter column
• Lightbox filter

Above events filter bar

When this option is selected, the filter options will appear at the top as shown below:

Side filter column

When this option is selected, the filter options will appear on the side as shown below:

Lightbox filter

When this option is selected, the filter options will appear in a lightbox that is visible when the Sliders icon shown below is clicked:

Fast filter bar

This feature creates a fancy new slider option for quickly searching and filtering events. You can assign Event type 1 or Event type 2 categories to this filter with custom colors and icons as shown below:

Time of day filter

This option is available on the Lightbox and offers a slider and selectable buttons for quickly selecting a specific time of the day as shown below:
