How to assign users to Events

NOTE: This requires the Action User addon

Step 1: Go to the event edit page from the Events menu on the left navigation menu on your WordPress.

Step 2: Find the Action User section on the sidbar on this page and click Manage Assigned Users

Step 3: Select Users or User Roles from the Assign users to this event light box window.

Step 4: Go to EventON Settings > ActionUser > User Capabilities select the correct user or user role. Make sure Edit Others Events and Edit Published Events are selected. Save Changes


Step 5: Go to Action User Settings > Event Manager make sure to select “Allow event assigned users to see event in event manager” — this will make the event visible in Event Manager. To allow the use to edit the event in event manager make sure to select “Allow event assigned users to edit those events in event manager.” Save Changes.

Additional

You can create calendars with only certain users by adding the parameter below to the shortcode

[add_eventon users="3,5"]

Where 3,5 would be user IDs seperated by commas.
