One solution for /events slug not working
Last Updated: December 23, 2021
Go to EventON > Settings and click on “General Settings”.
On the browser URL, you should see “&tab=’evcal_1” replace evcal_1 with extra so it should look like this
Press Enter
Now make sure there is a Events Page ID set, if not select from the drop down list.
If you do NOT see the events page in this drop down list, try this.
Go to Pages and find the ID of the events page. eg. 56
in the url of your site type options.php (after wp-admin/) and press enter your url should look like below
In this look for “eventon_events_page_id” and change this to the ID of the events page eg. 56
and press Enter
That should update the events page template.
