Why is Location Google Map grayed out or not displayed on Event Card
Last Updated: February 21, 2025
Check 1 – Google maps API Key
Go to EventON Settings > Google Maps API and make sure that Google maps API Key (Required) is present:
Check 2 – Generate Google Map from the address
Go to wp-admin > Events > Edit Event > Location and Venue and make sure that Location is selected and Generate Google Map from the address is enabled:
Check 3 – Event Card Data Fields
Go to EventON Settings > EventCard > Open EventCard Designer and make sure that Google Maps is checked:
Still Nothing?
Press Mouse Right Click > Inspect:
Click Console:
Here you can see if there are any errors with Google Maps JavaScript API and possible solutions from Google itself.
